Top 20 Anime You Want to Show Your Children

Charapedia recently published the results to an online poll that asked anime fans to pick the top anime that they would like to show to their children. The polling data included some 10,000 respondents ranging in age from adolescence to over thirty, with the gender ratios split nearly evenly with 54.1% male and 45.9% female.

Respondents were asked to pick their favorites from a pool of 70 animated works. The top 20 results are as follows:

20.) Puella Magi Madoka Magica (99 votes.)

It’s an interesting mix, with a surprising number of sports anime and light novel / visual novel adaptations in addition to the typical Weekly Shōnen Jump titles.

Fist of the North Star didn’t make the list, though. I weep for the future.
