Good news for fans of Natsume Yujin-cho: the anime adaptations of Yuki Midorikawa’s supernatural shōjo manga will continue in 2018 with a Natsume Yujin-cho theatrical film.

The animation production for the film will be handled by Shuka, the studio responsible for the Natsume Yujin-cho 5 and Natsume Yujin-cho 6 TV series. Hiroshi Kamiya and Kazuhiko Inoue reprise their roles as Natsume Takashi and Madara / Nyanko-sensei, respectively. An official website has also been published for the Natsume Yujin-cho film.
