Warning: Naruto manga spoilers ahead!
New, key art for Boruto: Naruto the Movie is here and it’s been designed by the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto! It features Naruto, Sasuke, Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Inojin, Shikadai, and Chocho as what we believe are the main characters for the movie. In the background, we aren’t sure who that is, but it looks like Kaguya Otsutsuki with the Rinnegan in her hands as the main villain. Again, we aren’t sure if it’s Kaguya, but we have seen Sasuke mention there being a chance for her to return in the currently-running Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring manga, so it is very well possible. The tagline mentioned in the key art is
The ‘will of fire’ is already old!? A new story will be told about the next generation hero!! The ‘ninja way’ and the ‘will of fire,’ that way of thinking is already old!? Aiming to become a new type of shinobi, the efforts of the new hero Boruto!!
The image quotes Boruto as saying “My father’s era is wrong!!” and gives a bit of information on the four lead characters – Boruto, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sarada.
Boruto, the scan mentions he is a prodigy who is blessed with the ability of a ninja. It also mentions Boruto hates his father, Naruto, who is always working.
Naruto, it mentions he is the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village and is always really busy.
Sasuke, it says he is Boruto’s master and that Boruto is training under him with the goal to surpass Naruto. Boruto is the one who has specifically asked Sasuke to be his master.
Sarada is mentioned to be comrades with Boruto, while at the same time having great respect for Naruto.
