It is officially confirmed that a live-action film adaptation of Atsuko Nanba’s 2004-2005 shoujo mangaSenpai to Kanojo (Senior and Girlfriend) is in the works for a fall 2015 release. The one-sided love-themed manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend from its September 2004 to April 2005 issue, then compiled in two tankobon volumes. Though it has only two, the series has had over 1 million copies in print.
