Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin are heading to the big screen for an anime film!

Details are being kept on the low, but it’s been confirmed that the anime’s original cast and staff will be participating in it. However, J.C. Staff is replacing Studio Deen for the animation production.

Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima began working on KonoSuba in 2013. It follows Kazuma, a NEET who meets a goddess named Aqua after a pathetic death and is offered to be reincarnated in a parallel world. Kazuma is allowed to bring one item or power with him, but he decides to bring Aqua out of spite.

The anime’s movie plot and release date will be shared at a later time.
