Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs Anime Officially Confirmed



Earlier this month, a production committee copyright for Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs (Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san) was registered for December’s Jump Festa event. The listing gave fans hope that the controversial harem will be getting an anime.

Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump promised a “big announcement” for the series and they are confirming that an anime has been green-lit. They didn’t say if Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs will have a TV anime or a special, and will have more information at December’s Jump Festa.


Jump Festa is a special event dedicated to Shueisha’s Jump line of manga. Special episodes for existing Jump anime and shorts for non-adapted manga. Black Clover, World Trigger, and Food Wars! all had Jump Festa specials before getting a TV anime adaptation.

Yuuna and the Haunted Springs centers around Kogarashi, a teenage boy who can see and banish ghosts. He moves into a haunted boarding house, which was once a hot springs inn. While relaxing in the hot springs, Kogarashi learns that his roommate is a ghost girl trying move on to the afterlife. After offering to help Yuuna, the other female tenants begin to share their supernatural secrets with Kogarashi.
