Netflix announced that it will be directed byShinji Aramaki (Appleseed), and Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), will be released at 2020. It’ll be co-produced by Production I.G × SOLA DIGITAL ARTS.
Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society was set in 2034, SAC_2045 is likely a sequel.
Sadly, Origa isn’t around anymore for the OP and OST. She passed away in 2015.
